Matching Gifts

Corporate matching gifts are a great way for Saint Joseph's alumni, parents, and friends to maximize personal contributions to the University and increase the impact of their gift. By taking advantage of a company's matching gift benefit, you may be able to double or even triple the amount of a contribution.

How do I know if my company matches has a matching gift program?

How do I get my gift matched?

Each company has its own guidelines for employees, spouses, retirees, and widows/widowers. Most corporate procedures are very simple...

1) If your business has a paper form, request a Matching Form from your company.

A) Complete and submit the form to Saint Joseph's along with your gift. SJU will verify the completed form and return it to your company. The company issues a matching gift contribution to Saint Joseph's.

B) Complete and submit the form to your company along with your gift. Your business will verify the completed form and forward your gift along with a matching gift contribution to Saint Joseph's.

2) If your company uses an automated system, complete the procedure, and you are finished. In some cases a spouse's company will also match the gift.
